One of the last to arrive here was the Ayurveda, which combines in its treatment of trauma that affects the body and mind and spirit. Ayurveda is hugely popular in India that has several colleges and Ayurvedic hospitals.
Because of their tradition and the effectiveness of treatments, the World Health Organization has recognized alternative techniques of Ayurveda as a treatment system legally enforceable.
Ayurvedic systems are based on forms of energy healing. The chakras are energy points through which it can cure various diseases. The basis of Ayurveda is the theory that physical ailments stem from damage that we expose ourselves to damage the spirit.
It is, like many Eastern systems, to achieve a balance between body and spirit, with different methods we can find in some centers in Spain, including the taking of various therapeutic minerals and, of course, their famous massages, as known of this technique coming from the east.
Today, Ayurveda and other forms of natural medicine is working to support herself as Western medicine and is taking aspects of this. Traditionally, Ayurveda has eight branches: Internal Medicine (Kaya Chikitsa), diseases of head and neck (shalakya tantra), surgery (Shaly), treatment of poisoning (agadatantra), paediatrics (kaum bhritya), reactivation (Rasayana), the use of aphrodisiacs (Vajikarana) and psychology (bhutavidya).
As the experts often recommend, should not become a fundamentalist of the medium, because the medicine called “traditional”, ie, the West can not be replaced many times by natural medicine.
Still, the Ayurveda, like yoga or Tai-Chi, if you get results in some areas, especially in cases of stress or pain caused by this and nerves caused by the pace of modern life.
Another tip, which often gives the authorities and consumer associations: be careful with the place to go. Mingle with serious specialists mere charlatans who promise cures impossible, playing with the need for them to come.
